Scouts are our oldest section. We now take young people, both boys and girls, aged 10½ to 14 years old. With a bigger focus on allowing our Young People to shape their Scouting experiences, you really can find something new to keep everyone inspired. Come and join the adventure and see what you can do.

Our Scout Leaders always push this growing section into lots of exciting new adventures. From kayaking, raft building, walking, fire lighting and cooking, to cycling and even going on an International Jamboree . Making a lot of use of the local area and water sport facilities we have – this section is never boring.

From Scouts at 14 the next step is Explorers (14-18) and Network (18-25). These are run at a District/County level. The best Scouts are invited back to become Young Leaders, to pass on their knowledge to younger members.
